The annual Inavation Awards – run by Inavate Magazine and ISE – takes place during the ISE exhibition in February 2025 and brings together leaders and innovators in AV to honour outstanding achievements, inspire the community, and celebrate groundbreaking advancements and extraordinary talent across the entire global AV industry.
We’re particularly delighted as a company to be shortlisted for the brand new Sustainable Business Award. While sustainability has been a key criterion for entrants into Inavation’s Company of the Year and Manufacturer of the Year categories (the latter being an award that Genelec won in 2024), it now has its own unique category, which is looking for evidence of companies who are actively minimising their carbon footprint, manufacturing sustainable and energy efficient products, and helping promote sustainable operations in the wider AV industry.
In the Technology awards category, our 3440A Smart IP PoE Subwoofer has been shortlisted in the audio category. Officially launched at InfoComm in Las Vegas this summer, the 3440A is a truly pioneering LF solution, delivery premium quality audio at high SPLs – all via the modest power capacity of PoE. The 3440A can be combined freely on the network with any other Smart IP loudspeaker model, finally allowing the creation of full-range studio-quality loudspeaker systems via PoE. Finally, we’re thrilled that the Marvel: Earth’s Mightiest Exhibition has been shortlisted in the Museums and Heritage category of the Projects awards section. The project entries this year span a staggering 23 countries, and celebrate creativity, technological prowess, and an ability to deliver meaningful results. The Marvel project was a collaboration between Berlin-based LEM Studios and acoustic scenographer Markus ‘Hossi’ Hossack, and deployed 70 4430A Smart IP loudspeakers to produce a ‘walkable comic book’ for visitors, featuring sophisticated and cinematic immersive soundscapes.
